What is EROS Expert?

A specialised practice focused on psychosexual therapy, relationship counselling and integrative wellbeing support, grounded in neuroscience, attachment science and evidence-based clinical practice, addressing desire, intimacy and relational patterns in a nonjudgemental, respectful way.

How long are sessions and what do they cost?

Sessions run for 50 minutes. Individual consultations are $240 AUD and couples consultations are $320 AUD. Payment is required a minimum of 24 hours before your scheduled consultation to confirm the appointment.

Are sessions online or in person?

Both. Sessions may be offered online and/or in person depending on the service and availability. Details are confirmed during booking or the initial consultation.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required. You may submit your enquiry through the confidential enquiry form directly.

Is it covered by Medicare or private health?

Services are not covered under Medicare. Some private health funds may offer rebates for counselling services depending on your cover; check directly with your fund. Invoices and receipts are provided after each session.

How confidential is the work?

Confidentiality is treated with the highest priority. All sessions and personal information are managed in accordance with professional, ethical and legal standards by PACFA applicable in Australia.

What happens after I submit an enquiry?

Your enquiry will be reviewed, and you will receive a response within two business days. Where the service appears suitable, available appointment options and payment information will be provided. An appointment is confirmed only after the required payment has been received.

Does psychosexual therapy involve physical examination or sexual activity?

No. Psychosexual therapy is a talking-based therapeutic process. It does not involve physical examination, sexual touching or sexual activity during sessions. Where medical or physical assessment may be beneficial, referral to an appropriate healthcare professional may be discussed.

Desire and libido

  • Low sexual desire or loss of libidoWhen sexual interest has reduced, changed or disappeared and this is causing personal or relational distress.
